The FOOLS is a golf group that formed in the early 80s. It has gone through numerous changes in membership, but the core group still exists, and actively runs the tournaments, social gatherings, and planning of future events.

The FOOLS is designed for the casual golfer not the low handicapper, because the golfing weekend is as much about having fun with your fellow competitors as it is about winning the tournament. The greatest thing about a FOOLS tournament, isn't having the trophy at the end of the weekend, it's about all the new stories that can be told over a drink for years to come.

Over the years the FOOLS have played many of the greatest courses in the Southeast, including: Harbor Town, PGA National, Doral, Boca West, Innisbrook, Bay Hill, and more. Typically, the group looks for locations where the players can stay in a villa, cabin, condo, or town house with a full kitchen so that the meals can be prepared on site. And those meals are often the most anticipated portion of the weekend, and why not, with homemade smoked BBQ ribs and a Standing Rib Roast typically on the menu.

In addition to the golf, and the food, the FOOLS have produced some exceptional favors for the members, including: etched high ball glasses, embroidered hats, golf shirts, sweaters, shoe bags, screen printed umbrellas and much more.
